WE RECONSTRUCT ROOFS
Badly designed and constructed areas that have continual leaking problems especially by box gutters and or incorrect runoff slope.
Modernizing existing structures and blending in built on sections with a selection of designs and materials.
Re Roof sections that have been extensively patched and not viable or feasible to repair further.
The correct method should be designed, proposed and implemented by a competent and qualified contractor. The roofing solutions should last the lifetime of the dwelling. We will design and construct a solution to your particular roofing needs.
TILE ROOFS AND IRON ROOFS
First ensure all required roof repairs are done prior to painting. Hydro wash and clean the roof sections Use a quality roof acrylic paint.
Various colours are available. Always use the manufactured standard colours for roof painting.
It is not recommended to use a base and tinting colour selection due to the effect of UV rays on the roof surfaces.
BARGE BOARDS AND FASCIA BOARDS
Ensure that the supporting timber is sound. Check for dry rot and deterioration especially by over due or un treated sections.
Resecure and effect any required repairs before cleaning preparations. On existing materials remove any loose chips and flakes.
Sandpaper as needed and clean surfaces. Always use a high quality acrylic paint.
GUTTERS, DOWN PIPES AND FLASHINGS
When repainting gutters always clean and flush the inside of the gutters first. Check for deterioration. Any rust must be addressed.
If needed and accessible recoat the inside of the gutters Check all joints, stop ends and outlets for leaks.
Repair or replace as needed before painting. Downpipes should also be checked and flushed prior to painting.


CLADDING AND CLOSURES
Gutters should be cleaned on a regular basis. Avoid accumulation of debris and leaves in the gutters.
This will prevent premature deterioration and rusting.
Existing gutters should be checked for leaks at the joints outlets and stop ends. It is essential to clean and prepare gutters before painting.
New gutters have to be etched and prepared before painting.
Good quality acrylic paint is recommended for the gutters and down pipes.
BOX GUTTERS:
It is imperative that the size of the box gutter is sufficient for the designed area of out flow.
Consideration must be exercised for extreme as well as normal conditions.
The gutter must be able to cope with heavy down pours and hail.
At times it is necessary to fit hail guards. The gutters must be kept clean and free of any debris.
Ensure that the surface has adequate run off and is coated adequately
These points apply equally to normal and industrial gutters and down pipes.
